Lloyd Simon, a longtime entertainment lawyer, started Production Advisors shortly after leaving MTV, where he was a founding father and their very first Director of Legal and Business Affairs. Envisioning the growing trend of branded content, Lloyd realized the need for a specialized company to handle the many complicated issues involved in brand entertainment, including artist's consent, negotiating for fair licensing fees, and understanding the complexities of union talent and re-use payments. In the past 20 years, Lloyd has been behind some of the biggest breakthroughs involving music and talent in advertising.
